Mr Jandhyala invited to sit on the editorial board for Body Language Magazine.

Last week, Mr Jandhyala was approached by the management at Body Language Magazine, the leading UK magazine on aesthetics and anti-aging to join its editorial board to offer and advice on and review current articles in aesthetic medicine.

Mr Jandhyala publishes a paper comparing the evidence supporting two commercially available botulinum toxins used in Journal of Drugs in Dermatology.

Mr Jandhyala, a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, has had his second paper of the year published, this time in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology. Mr Jandhyala's special interest lies in the science behind botulinum toxins in the aesthetics or cosmetic use. He has now become a leading opinion on subject and continues to run clinic studies through the Jandhyala Institute, based in his clinic in Banbury.

Mr Jandhyala publishes a botulinum toxin cost-effectiveness calculator in Journal of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

There are currently 3 commercially available type A botulinum neurotoxins currently being used in aesthetics: Bocouture (Merz), Azzalure (Galderma) and Vistabel (Allergan) and each differs subtly from the others in various characteristics, including price. Mr Jandhyala has designed and programmed a cost-calculator which enables practitioners to calculate, based on their own configuration of clinic, which one offers them the best value for money.

This is an original concept and one that was deemed worthy of publication in the Journal of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the official journal of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS).

Mr Jandhyala publishes another piece of research.

Enhance is extremely proud to announce the publication of another of Mr Jandhyala's studies in a leading medical journal. Mr Jandhyala, President of the United Kingdom Society for the Study of Aesthetic Medicine, had been researching informed consent procedures in aesthetic medicine for the last 18 months. This culminated in the publication of his article entitled: 'Improving consent procedures and evaluation of treatment success in cosmetic use of incobotulinumtoxin A: An assessment of the Treat-to-Goal Approach' in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology.

The Treat-to-Goal approach utilises the Merz Aesthetic pictorial scales in its consent process and has been shown to be superior to traditional verbal consent procedures. It is hoped that the article will prompt other medical professionals to adopt the 'Jandhyala Treat-to-Goal Approach' when consenting their clients for aesthetic procedures. Mr Jandhyala continues to conduct his research through the Jandhyala Institute based at Enhance in Banbury.

Enhance Charity Fashion Show raises £2000 for Friends of Frank Wise School.

Earlier this month saw Enhance's first charity fashion show in aid of Frank Wise School. After having collected all of the donations and money pledged, Enhance were thrilled to announce that they met their target of raising £2000 for the Friends of Frank Wise minibus fund. The evening was attended by around 50 people from Banbury and the surrounding villages. 'I'm so pleased to have been able to attend this amazing show and know my money is going towards such an amazing cause' said one. 'We're extremely pleased with the turnout and the money we've been able to raise. It's our intention that we put on a show like this every year.' said Sonia Jandhyala, co-owner of Enhance who's eldest son Luca attends Frank Wise and continues to flourish there.

The evening saw a catwalk show where creative director, Amy Trinder and head beauty therapist Rebecca Hutchison demonstrated a hair-up and eyelash enhancement respectively. The models also showed off a collection of bags by local designer Jasmine Gilhooly. 'I was especially impressed with the hair styles demonstrated by Amy, I've got a couple of ideas for my own hair now, but I think I'll need Amy's help to pull it off!' said another member of the audience.

Dr Jandhyala is awarded a Master of Laws from the University of Leicester.

This month, co-owner of Enhance, Dr Ravi Jandhyala graduated from the University of Leicester Faculty of Law with a Masters in Medical Law and Ethics. Dr Jandhyala's thesis explored the legal framework around informed consent for experimental procedures and compared this with the United States. 'I'm extremely pleased to have completed this course, it's been privilege to have been able to learn about the important ethical challenges that face doctors like myself today' said Dr Jandhyala. This news follows a publication of Dr Jandhyala's 'Treat to Goal approach' for consenting clients ahead of aesthetic treatments earlier in the year. 'Informed consent is an important part of receiving any medical treatment and I hope that my Treat to Goal approach will allow prospective clients to be better informed and have a greater understanding of what to expect from their aesthetic treatments.' said Dr Jandhyala.

Enhance is living proof!

Enhance has recently become one of only 100 exclusive salons in the UK (and the only place in Oxfordshire) to stock Living Proof.

Living Proof is a hair care range which was founded by world-class biotech scientists and is co-owned by every woman’s hair idol, Jenifer Anniston!

The creators of Living proof have invented and patented two new molecules;
“#1 OFPMA: a superior way to care for and style hair; better than any of the conventional technologies that exist in the market, like silicone and oils. This molecule creates an exquisitely thin, invisible shield around every hair strand. With this shield: hair becomes healthier over time, hair is strengthened and protected from daily assaults like brushing and washing, hair fights off humidity, so frizz is stopped in its tracks, hair repels oil and dirt so it stays cleaner, longer, hair texture is polished into a smooth, glossy lustre.”
“#2 PBEA: This tiny molecule does big things. Literally. PBAE creates a micropattern of thickening dots on every hair strand, making hair look and behave like textured, full, thick hair. With PBAE hair behaves like full, thick hair with body and volume.”

With over 45 awards to date, Living Proof continues to develop innovative solutions that change the way our hair appears and behaves.

Living proof’s philosophy is that every day can be a good hair day.

We are living proof.. are you?
